Emerald Lake Engagement Photos in Rocky Mountain National Park
Sarah & Jake’s Emerald Lake Engagement Photos
We planned a sunrise session at Dream lake and ended up with stunning foggy Emerald Lake engagement photos! Sarah & Jake are the current record holders for most buttocks grabbed during an engagement shoot – they’re just that into each other. Luckily for me, they’re also into cold & suffering as they jumped at the chance for a sunrise engagement shoot in Estes Park.. that ended up featuring no sunlight at all! Trust Rocky Mountain National Park to provide the moody, cloud-soaked scenery that inspired me to create these awesome images of two beautiful people getting married next year! I could go on and on about how playful, hilarious and good looking this couple is, but you came here for the photos, so here they are! Did I mention that Sarah MADE her epic crimson dress with only about ten days’ notice?? How cool is she?!
The view at Emerald Lake was epic and incredible. No bait was used to photograph the wildlife in the ring shot below – just a good dose of curiosity!
On our way back down the mountain trail, we paused to shoot with this amazing stand of peak aspens that we’d missed in the dark on the way up! I just LOVE the one of them skipping down the trail!
There’s nowhere I’d rather be than freezing my tush off in the wild colorado landscape with people in love! Sarah & Jake’s June 2018 wedding should be a little warmer – and it can’t come soon enough (Obviously!!) In the meantime, if you or someone you know needs epic engagement photos, contact me right away to lock in your date!
Nice wedding photography, very nice pictures.
