Sunrise Garden of the Gods Elopement

Another incredible couple honored me with the role of capturing their sunrise Garden of the Gods Elopement and I couldn’t be happier for these two! We have an amazing variety of scenery here in Colorado and it was fun to mix up the mountains with the red desert rocks for this elopement. We met up at sunrise to take advantage of the early morning light on Pike’s Peak. Not to mention fewer visitors to clog up the best spots! We hiked around on the rocks until they found a perfect location that felt right to them. Then they said their vows privately, just the two of them, in the quiet morning air. It was simple, personal, and beautiful – everything they had wanted! I love touring the park with newlyweds looking for the best photo spots. There’s something about that just-married grin that is priceless! At the end, they sped off in their sportscar which was adorned with a JUST MARRIED banner. It was uniquely THEM and it was a pleasure to share in their infectious happiness that morning – here’s to Juan & Alexa! -Lucy
