Winter Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement Photos

Hazel & Josephs’ Winter Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement Photos

If you want mountains in your photos, we got ’em! Safe to say we nailed it with Hazel & Joseph’s rocky mountain national park engagement photos in Estes Park. Though it was early November, Colorado was already carpeted with fresh snow, giving us that full winter feeling that set the scene for their snowy engagement photos. It was only 30 degrees even in the bright sunshine at the warmest part of the day, but luckily we stayed warm in our cars while driving in between my favorite photo locations in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Having the park to ourselves

Because we visited on a weekday, we all enjoyed having the park seemingly to ourselves, and together we soaked in the incredible, world class scenery of the park, which is truly an excellent location for Colorado engagement photos. Joseph and Hazel were SO fun to “work” with and giggled the ENTIRE time we shot together, and they even thought the cold air was “fresh” and exciting! So much so that by the end of the session, they dissolved into a snowball fight in their parkas. That’s my favorite- clients who are grown-up kids, having fun and goofing off together – you’ll see their genuine grins and laughter throughout these highlight photos.
