Winter Colorado Engagement Photos – Mountain Engagement Photographer
Jessica & Jonathan’s Snowy Winter Engagement Photos
Jessica & Jonathan met one of my rogue fans in Texas by a chance encounter, and promptly hired me to capture their winter Colorado engagement photos right away. I was so flattered that of all the Colorado engagement photographers, they wanted me, based solely on the woman’s glowing review (Thanks, Jan!). This gave me six months to get excited about their session, because they booked back in July! They were both so easy and pleasant to work with, it felt like an afternoon of meeting new friends. They requested a winter colorado engagement photos to highlight their history of living in our state, and we were treated to a beautifully still winter’s day in Summit county. Bright sun highlighted the peaks of Buffalo Mountain and Red Peak in the background of their Dillon, CO Engagement photos in late December.
Out to have fun
From the moment they arrived at the session, these two were up for anything! They started by laughing about the deep snow I had them standing in for the very first shots. (My apologies to all four of your shoes.) Jessica’s fuchsia dress set off the blue hues of the snow and shadows perfectly as they cuddled up, danced and romanced along the shore of frozen lake Dillon. Then they changed into casual winter wear so they could have a good old snowball fight. Once we get to the second outfit, I tell folks that the aim is to have as much fun as physically possible, and they DELIVERED. You can see on their faces that they were hollerin’ and giggling as they rough housed together in the snow. It was my pleasure to capture the essence of what hanging out with these lovebirds is truly like. Congratulations on your engagement and all the best for your wedding later this year! -Lucy
