Courtney & Cam’s Sunrise Amphitheater Elopement Photos
Doing things a little differently is a Boulder way of life. It was just a few months ago that I met this pair at one of their friends’ intimate backyard wedding, so when they reached out to me to inquire about photographing their short-notice, casual and fun Sunrise Amphitheater elopement I couldn’t believe my luck! Additionally, they are in the top tier of nicest-people-you-will-ever-meet! We met up as the sun rose on Flagstaff mountain for some romantic portraits of the sweethearts.
The Elopement Ceremony
When their immediate families arrived, they said their hand-written vows in front of the best view in Boulder. It was emotional for everyone. Truly one of my favorite parts of an elopement is the way the partners are encouraged to speak from their hearts. They chose a close friend to play officiant, so there were no strangers there. Keeping their ceremony in their intimate circle meant the shy pair could really be themselves. Then it was Hugs, Coffee, Bagels, and done! Friends brought spreads and toppings to compliment the brunch theme. Thank you for including me to capture your heartfelt and candid moments of love, and congratulations to you both! Looking to great places to elope in Boulder? I’ve got a guide for that!
