Margot & Will’s Spring Wild Basin Lodge Wedding

Wedding slam dunk alert!! This fine pair of lovebirds sealed the deal at their Spring Wild Basin Lodge wedding ceremony. Personal touches dominated Margot & Will’s day from start to finish and I LOVE it! Margot wore her grandmother’s heirloom jewels. Their dog, Beau, who also attended their rainbow-filled engagement session, just about stole the show with his flower collar and adorable booty. Booty, booty, booty. Okay, moving on. The couple celebrated their heritage by welcoming their guests through a Danish arch. And they even ordered up a heart shaped cloud to appear over their mountain view ceremony!

Margot & Will’s Story

If you’re a sucker for meet-cute stories like I am, this one is going to rock your world. Margot’s mom Dana’s personal trainer at her gym was none other than her future son in law. Dana just had a feeling – “You have to meet my daughter.” she told Will. She schemed up ways to get them together, one time having Margot pick her from the gym up so she’d be forced to meet Will. Well, well, well. One thing lead to another, and 3 years later here they are getting married. To thank her mom for their life-changing meeting, Margot presented her mom with her bouquet after dinner.

A Wild Basin Lodge Wedding with Style

Being avid outdoor enthusiasts, Will and Margot set aside time to lace up their hiking boots and head into nearby Rocky Mountain National Park on their wedding day. Margot pulled up her ballgown so it didn’t catch the snow on the ground – she turned into a hiking cupcake! We all loved the fresh mountain air as we nailed some epic portraits in the mountains. Then, big, bold and beautiful florals surrounded them at the Meadow Peak ceremony site back at the Wild Basin Lodge. Their friends and family gave them hilarious and heartfelt toasts just before the dancefloor opened. And oh boy – I’ve never seen such an enthusiastic group of dancers. It was almost as if they’d all been cooped up for a year..
