Roxborough State Park Engagement Photos

Kelsey & Owen’s Roxborough State Park Engagement Session

I <3 everything about this new Roxborough State Park engagement session! The location, the blue sky and fall colors, the towering red rock formations, and the ever present joy on Kelsey & Owen’s faces! We shared a hilarious afternoon in Roxborough for these beautiful fall engagement photos. Kelsey even hiked several miles in heels!! Exploring the park with your love is such a fun way to get your engagement photos done. This is one of my favorite locations in Colorado for portraits – ask me why I like it more than red rocks! I know their wedding at the Wellshire next summer is going to be amazing – just look how smitten they are with each other!

Kelsey & Owen selected the GOLD wedding package and got over 100 engagement photos less than three weeks later!

Photographer’s information: Roxborough State park requires a photo permit. You can apply for it and pick up same day at the park office. The permit is good for each quarter and costs about $45. This park is well-patrolled by well meaning park rangers, so don’t shoot there without one! It’s easy to follow the rules – stay on the paths and don’t interfere with other park visitors’ experience.
