Maren & Braden’s Halloween Pumpkin Patch Engagement
For Maren & Braden, fall is a special time, so we had to get them some pumpkin patch engagement photos! Every October for the last 8 years they make sure to set aside time for a date to the fall festival. I never felt like a third wheel on their date (our date?) though. If niceness was an olympic sport, these two would be at the top of the podium. Every. Time. We started the shoot close to sunset for the best light in the open pumpkin fields, and before long they were bathed in golden light. In their natural habitat, it was easy to capture these two with beaming their faces off. I felt like the photos truly captured their goofy personalities and joyous love they have for each other.
High School Sweethearts
Perhaps the best thing about photographing high school sweethearts is that they do NOT. STOP. LAUGHING. TOGETHER. When it came time to switch to the second outfit, we found ourselves with nowhere to change.. except the corn maze. So in they went! I heard a lot of giggling in there! 😀 As the sky turned orange, we got spookier and moodier photos to play up the Halloween & Fall engagement photos theme, and even used a purple gel to backlight smoke from one of the campfires for a fun twist.
