Margot & Will’s Mt Falcon Engagement Photos
This is how it’s done, people! The anticipation for their Mt Falcon Engagement photos was months in the making.. I’m looking at you with an evil eye, COVID19! Also because since the moment they contacted me about their Colorado wedding photography, Margot & Will have been total dreamboat clients, and generous in sending me photos and updates of their break-the-charts adorable corgi, Beau. We HAD to include Beau in their mountain engagement photos near Denver, where it promptly started raining. Booooo. However, because it’s Colorado, the rain passed very quickly and we could finally get all the cute photos of Beau, and even some of the couple as well ;).
Rainbow Engagement Photos
Special note here, you don’t have to be this good looking to be my client – they just happened to be 10’s, solidifying my place as the luckiest photographer in Colorado. After the last clouds passed us, we were graced with not one, but TWO incredibly bright and colorful rainbows against the dark stormy sky. Again, lucky AF. I almost cried. It was insanely beautiful and we made the most of it for their Colorado engagement photos at Mt. Falcon. Margot matched Beau in Corgi printed socks as she and Will frolicked through the spring greens and trees. We got some creative engagement photos with double exposures, a killer tiny planet, and an upside down mind bender.
Formal Engagement Photos at Mt Falcon
They got fancy for their second outfit, and included a mini salsa dance in a field of yellow flowers for ultimate romance points. They also brought along Margot’s grandma’s special necklace that Will lovingly put on for her, at sunset, with this incredible golden light behind them. I’m still swooning. I loved that they included these personal activities at their session without it feeling like they had a bunch of cheesy props. After a few more photos with Beau, (who I was ready to abduct/smuggle home with me) It was time to pop. that. champagne!! Now the anticipation for their wedding at the Wild Basin Lodge is jacked up to the max! Congratulations Margot & Will, I can’t wait to party with you next year!
