Dream Lake Sunrise Proposal
I am just ecstatic for these two! Noah contacted me last month to help him pull together a romantic Dream Lake sunrise proposal in Rocky Mountain National Park for his girlfriend, April. From the first moment he contacted me, we just hit it off with the same vision. He wanted to surprise her on a hike, with a big mountain view – but without too many people nearby! I walked him through the details of some different locations and we soon settled on this one in the heart of Estes Park.
THE DAY OF THE PROPOSAL
We began the hike before dawn, and after a mile or so, we came to the beautiful shoreline of Dream Lake. If you’ve never been up at this rocky mountain lake for sunrise, let me tell you what an immersive experience it is. You smell the coniferous trees, feel the pure breeze, hear nothing but the birds and insects begin to stir and sing, and see dawn’s rays creeping down Hallett peak towering in front of you. It is romantic AF. So when Noah got down on one knee and asked April to marry him, everything was perfect. Their engagement photos at Dream Lake were beautiful, romantic, colorful and fun – just the way I like it!
