What can you say about this new fairytale boutique wedding venue in Boulder?! UM, AMAZING, that’s what! I just found this new venue in Boulder while creating my guide on how to elope in boulder. I hastily got in contact with the owner and we immediately decided to be friends – that’s just how it happened, folks! We knew we had to collaborate, so last month we whipped up this amazing shoot to showcase all that this boutique wedding venue in Boulder has to offer. And let me tell you, it is just as stunning on the inside as it is on the impressive, stately grounds. I pretty much had my jaw on the floor the whole time. Brb, need to get remarried (to my husband, I’m keeping him.) at this boulder castle wedding venue. Vintage-esque touches pop against fun, bright walls that leaves a color-lover like myself in tasteful paradise! The hallway bathroom is possibly the most beautiful and fun bathroom I’ve ever been in, and if you’re wondering how that’s possible, you’ll just have to see what I mean in person! There’s an aspen grove – Check! A fancy wrap around staircase in the foyer that will make your heart flutter – Check! Incredible catering on site by the chef & owner – CHECK! Multiple ceremony site options, balconies, and mountain views for days – Checkmate! Not to mention it’s just a few miles from Lost Gulch, one of the most popular places in the entire state of Colorado for wedding photos and engagement photos, and just five miles from downtown Boulder. It is a dream! Shooting there with Jahalia and Matt was a photographer’s paradise. Jahalia is too easy to photograph and “work” with – her bright attitude made all of us feel like friends hanging out the entire time – while we basically showered her with compliments for a few hours! (Phew, my job is SO awesome!!) Warning, you’ll kinda fall in love with her just by looking at the photos. Professional studmuffin Matt, also known as Jahalia’s fiance, was the perfect gentlemanly escort for our wedding shoot at Greystone, and I took approximately 5 billion photos of them romancing around the castle. Jahalia wore a stunning sheer bodiced ball gown in the fall 2020 collection by Adrianna Papell, complete with a perfectly romantic veil both from Jacquelyn at Bridal Connection in Longmont. Bridal Connection is a special store because Jacquelyn has a huge passion not just for bridal styling, tailoring, and customizations, but she actually makes her own wedding gown designs as well!! So if you’re looking for something completely new and completely you, there is no one better in the whole state – and she did my alterations for my own wedding dress! 🙂 Lizzie from Paper Girl Creative made this incredible invitation suite for us to highlight the colors and fun whimsy of the location. She can whip up anything to suit your vibe and nails it with classic touches and high end finishes. After all, the invitation is the first taste your guests will have of what’s to come at your event. Katy & Kimberly from Seasons of Bliss did up the styling of the table and details, making this whole shoot come together with a *pop*! Their eye to detail, forethought, and passion for amazing events came through – we couldn’t have pulled it all off without them! They simply know what needs doing, and then they get it done! Having them on your team as you plan your wedding at Greystone would be incredibly valuable as they know all the ins and outs of the space and making your vision come to life, as well as keeping your wedding day running smoothly so all you have to do is have as much fun as physically possible. Now, for the part you’re really here for – the fun and colorful photos! I would love to be your Greystone Castle wedding photographer in 2021 & 2022 – get in touch now because dates are booking up!
