Oh. My. Goodness! Sit down and get ready for a whopper blog post. Rachel & Sam’s wedding was a fairy tale from start to finish and it was my honor to capture the special family moments that packed this wedding to the brim. Their daughter, my BFF and pro flower girl Evi even did her mom’s makeup and all of her own stunts! Congratulations to you both – I couldn’t be happier to have shared your best day with you! Enjoy the photos!

Evi’s dress with her Mom’s dress in the background.
When all the gals arrived, we busted out a quick robe shot on the front porch.
While Rachel was getting dressed, the hilarious pack of groomsmen showed me what they’re made of. It involved flasks.
Sam is looking good!
All of these getting ready moments were taken in just a few minutes – someone was very excited to see her groom!
Not all brides can be Rachel.. sucks for them! She is so gorgeous!!
First Look time – one of my favorites. Just the bride and groom and a whole lotta love.
Sam reaches for a hand from best man Chuck as he sees Rachel and her Dad starting the ceremony. Even with the first look, the walk down the aisle is still a dramatic moment.
I love all of the expressions here – a beaming mom, a jaw-dropped best man and the groom full of love for his bride.
After heartfelt vows, comic hesitation, handfasting, a few tears and the exchange of rings.. They sealed it with a kiss!
Bridal party madness! Nothing like a little bride-on-bridesmaid violence and groomsmen photobombs!
The Appel inn has this awesome 8-sided barn with deck space for cocktail hour. Of all the venues in upstate NY where I’ve shot, this one had a special, homey, country feeling. The interior is spectacular as well!
Their first dance was full of twirls and squeezes. Rachel glowed with happiness all night.
Hearing the sweet toasts is always a highlight of my day. Renee’s toast was a tearjerker and Chuck roasted Sam like only a best man could.
I shot their wedding rings during dinner. Anytime I can add value for my couples, I will!
And then things got FUNKY on the dancefloor.
Rachel very delicately frosted Sam’s face.. and he got her back big time!
My assistant and I jumped in on all the fun the guests were having at the photobooth. It was late and we got a little silly! WHOA.
I know I said all of these moments are my favorite.. but taking the couple out at twilight to “take in the magic of their day” aka Make Out is definitely up there. Love these!
The Pollards received over 900 images three weeks after their wedding in this custom DVD case.
Behind the scenes! My assistant took these photos of me hunting down the best shots.
