Another totally fantastic wedding with Amancay & Matthew just outside Philadelphia. Get comfortable because this blog post is HUGE! I loved the unique steampunk flair that they infused with every part of their day- Amancay wore a blue leather cape & corset dress ensemble, and there were even dry ice fog towers surrounding the cake. Of course, the love on their faces all day was enough for me. Congratulations to you both and enjoy the photos!

Now that you’ve seen this you realize you need a Tardis ring box too.
Matthew wore an equally unique and tasteful garb, chosing scarlet for his side of the bridal parties’ color. Two of his best gal pals were Groomsmaids – yes!!
Most brides get zipped or buttoned into their dress – Amancay’s Mom cinched and cinched and cinched and TIED her in!
Bonita! Guapa! Hermosa!
Their private first look in a beautiful shady garden just melts me!
Off to St Luke’s Methodist in Bryn Mawr for their short and sweet ceremony, sealed with a perfectly romantic first kiss!
These freshly newlywed photos are my favorite.. but then all the moments are my favorite. Who is counting?
Matthew & Amancay are a wedding photographer’s dream couple – they just love and smooch on each other all day. I didn’t pose them at all because everything they did was so cute.
Back at Haverford College for more bridal portraits at the duck pond where we did their engagement shoot ten months ago!
I don’t think I have a single photo in which Amancay isn’t grinning. I love a happy, gorgeous bride!!
After their glorious first waltz, Maid of honor Emma spoke from her heart. These small moments in between the big moments are just as important to capture.
I loved that Amancay & Matthew chose to include all of their parents by switching partners partway through the song.
Their tasty dessert bar table stretched on to fill the width of the ballroom! And Lego figures represent the members of the bridal party repelling off dry ice towers.
And then they partied, and danced, and partied, and danced some more. Shoutout to The Gin Canaries here – Christa’s voice is AMAZING, and they kept everyone dancing until the very end.
When the couple dances, it’s like nobody else is in the room.
Amancay started a Conga line.. which soon involved every last guest.. culminating in a huge circle, a chair appeared and Amancay was suddenly hoisted into the air by her friends! Then, MORE dancing!!
I snuck the two out for a few more photos in the late afternoon light near the end of the reception.
LOVE these last shots – the perfect ending to a perfect day!
