New Zealand – March 28th

Continued from March 27th.

Sunrise on Lake Te Anau from the campground where I stayed.

You can purchase prints of these images and more from the south island here!

Low cloud covered the town of Te Anau, and I walked down to the marina and photographed the fog over the lake.

A pretty little rowboat floated in the fresh sunlight, and a strange pink flowering tree made me smile.

This view typifies much of the driving around Queenstown.

Queenstown Gardens, where one must mind the signs and Beware Of Flying Frisbee Discs.

I guess I’d been spoiled by the scenery at Milford, because my photography was rather half-hearted, just late afternoon light hitting The Remarkables with lake Whakatipu in front.

  1. Each new set of pictures is more captivating than the blog post before!! These images make me yearn to see New Zealand for myself, Lucy!

Missing your smile and radiance very much … hoping all is well in your world! Love, Lez
