New Zealand – March 8th

A little recap of my day’s adventures in New Zealand and a few photo highlights. Please email me to purchase a print or canvas of any of these images, and view the full Auckland Area gallery here.
I packed a plum in my sweater pocket.. later stuck my hand in said pocket to retrieve phone.. found the phone covered in plum sauce, which was from the plum that had exploded in my green coat. Sunrise was fantastic and my uncle took me down the coast- as far as it went, naturally, over steep gravel one lane roads consisting only of sharp corners. Later, we went to Anawhata beach, one of the most remote beaches on the west coast, but I christened it “perfectionland.” Soft dark sand, giant rocks loom out of the ground, grassy dunes are dotted about, the tide is just right, there are bluebottle jellyfish washed up on shore, and the sun is setting just right.
Each of the below images consist of 6- 15 separate images and took 1-7 hours to stitch together. If they look too good to be real.. I did it right! It was truly unbelievably beautiful.
you have captured the essence of NZ beautifully – Well done 🙂
SO glad to see more NZ pics up … keep ’em coming!
It hurt when my jaw hit the ground.
Incredible photography!
