Emily & Bradley’s Lily Lake Proposal Photos

Wow guys – break out the tissues for these Lily Lake proposal photos! Sometimes we plan a proposal for months in advance, and sometimes just a few days! Bradley contacted me the week of his proposal to Emily to set up professional proposal photography at Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. Throughout the course of their relationship, the couple enjoyed having picnics together at sunset, so we aimed to recreate those memories with a sunset proposal in Estes Park. Bradley was very thoughtful in his preparation for the proposal, playing their song on his phone as he walked Emily to the lake and mountain view location.

A bold orange glow crusted the mountains in the background as Bradley took a knee and spoke from his heart. Emily was SO surprised and overcome with emotion! After they embraced, the three of us enjoyed creating some romantic and colorful engagement photos in Rocky Mountain National Park. A day of rain gave way to a bluish purple sunset as Bradley & Emily enjoyed their first dance as fiance’s on the boardwalk. They were so gracious that at the end of the night, we had a hardcore thank-you off. First, they thanked me for coming up for their Estes Park proposal photos. Then no no, I thanked them for having me! No thank you for photographing us… and so on. It got dark by the time we were finished!
