Patrick and Wesley’s Sunrise Gay Engagement Photos

Patrick and Wesley joined me at sunrise to take their fun gay engagement photos at some ruins. Okay, the ruins aren’t from ancient Rome, but for a morning we could pretend! Patrick is a dancer, and he took every opportunity to get his fiance to twirl him. It was hella cold that morning, and the first rays of sunlight lit up the two men’s breath as they laughed at everything- and nothing. I love a laid back couple that doesn’t take themselves too seriously!

I Found My People

You know when you meet great humans and you want to scream “I HAVE FOUND MY PEOPLE?!” Patrick and Wesley are those people without a doubt. Two kinder and more gracious could-be models you will not find. Listen, we talked about our moms. We regaled each other with stories of our pets. Wesley works for my husband’s favorite department store (a store he visits so often that I jokingly call it “his mistress”) so those two got together like a house on fire. Really, we all did, and this hilarious and free spirited engagement session easily became one of the most fun of the year.

The Best Gay Engagement Photos

We got an incredible variety of engagement photos of the guys. Patrick, in his wide brimmed hat, oozed style and confidence. Wesley loved on him in the ruins, the winding staircase of the gardens, under huge trees and by the river rimmed with autumn trees. One of my favorite moments was when they embraced the fall season and threw leaves in the air. Grinning ear to ear, they embraced as the leaves fell. I loved photographing them and their matching wood inlay engagement rings – congratulations you two!
