Spring is a fickle time in Colorado – and Quinnlyn & Trenton’s Denver elopement photos tell the tale all too well. What could have been a balmy 60 or 70 degree spring day was instead the very picture of winter! Denver got 3 inches of snow the night before their intimate, two person elopement. However, the day dawned clear with a beautiful bluebird sky. I honestly don’t know if I’ve seen a more beautiful fairytale winter scene for an elopement. While they had been hoping for spring, they embraced the snowy landscape with open arms. And open mouths, as they bit into the fresh snow to rehydrate after the short hike to the ceremony site.

Frequently, I get asked for Colorado elopement locations with mountain views while remaining close to Denver. Most photographers will tell you – this is a big ask! There are hidden gems and this is one of my favorites. Just a short, easy walk on a mountainside and less than an hour’s drive from Denver, this one made for the perfect elopement spot. Bride and Groom Style
Quinnlyn’s raven black hair turned into the most perfect and unexpected winter elopement accessory. The contrast on the sparkling snow was giving us Snow White vibes. The couple’s quirky style and tattoos were on full display with her off-the shoulder bridal look and Trenton’s short sleeve button up. And yes, it was cold! But they kept each other warm with giggles and frequent hugs. They both rocked manicures in opposite colors – and you’ll have to see his wedding ring because he went all out on the sparkle factor!
